This is part 2 in this series and it’s titled “Serving for God’s Glory” Today we will discover these points of interest:
We will be reading in 1 Peter 4: 7-11
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
In Verse 7 Peter tells us that the end ALL things is at hand. So it’s a warning to all of us that we must heed. But then He goes on to tell us how to react about the warning. We must be serious and watchful when we pray. Peter puts love above all things and tell us to have a passionate intensity for one another because love covers the sins. Be hospitable to each other without complaint. We must use our gift of ministry to sharpen each other’s swords. This to speak the word of God through His authority. Speak the word as God would give it to you to glorify God through Jesus. Give All glory and praise and All dominion forever and ever.

Dear Lord,
My desire should always be your desire, we should know the end is near and we should make ready for the events that lay ahead.
Lord, I pray today that with this message Christians get a real understanding about how we are to prepare and not stray from your
Path. I pray that all will take heed in preparation for your Glory and are blessed in doing so. I pray this in the your holy name Jesus Christ. Amen
