What Is Sin According To The Scriptures Itself? Here is the Strong's Concordance definition of SIN. Strong's G266 - hamartia ἁμαρτία equivalent to 264 to be without a share in to miss the mark to err, be mistaken to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong to wander from the law of God, violate God's law, sin
that which is done wrong, sin, an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in actcollectively, the complex or aggregate of sins committed either by a single person or by many www.blbclassic.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=G266&t=KJV&page=6Strong's G264 - hamartano ἁμαρτάνω to be without a share in to miss the mark to err, be mistaken to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong to wander from the law of God, violate God's law, sinwww.blbclassic.org/lang/lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G264&t=KJVto wander from the law of God, violate God's law, sin that which is done wrong, sin, an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in act--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now what does the apostle Paul write about SIN? Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20. www.blbclassic.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=knowledge+of+sin&t=KJV for by the law is the knowledge of sin.What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. Romans 7:7. www.blbclassic.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=G266&t=KJV&page=3I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.It is very clear by thee apostle Paul that the divine law of Elohim defines what SIN really is, and some will talk about LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, yet they won't even acknowledge what SIN really is, and won't STOP transgressing Elohim's divine laws.

What Is Sin According To The Scriptures Itself? Even UNBELIEF is SIN too according to Paul. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Romans 14:23. www.blbclassic.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=faith+is+sin&t=KJVNow what does the apostle James write about SIN? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. James 2:8-9. www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jas&c=2&v=9&t=KJV#9What does the apostle John write about SIN? Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4. www.blbclassic.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=G266&t=KJV&page=6All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 1 John 5:17. www.blbclassic.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=G266&t=KJV&page=6Did ye know that it was the devil that sinned or transgressed Elohim's divine laws from the beginning, and those who sin or transgress divine law is of the devil? He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=1Jo&c=3&v=8&t=KJV#8Those who commits sin or transgresses Elohim's divine laws are of the devil. And ye need REPENTANCE OF OR FROM YOUR SINS, have ye thought about your SINS or transgressions of Elohim's divine laws? Well, only Yah Messiah can deliver ye from your SINS or transgressions. Are YE willing to REPENT and be CONVERTED?

Greetings and Shalom to everyone, in the book of Daniel is a very great example of true heartfelt repentance that everyone should read. In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
And I set my face unto the Lord/Yahuwah God/Elohim, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD/Yahuah my God/Elohim, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD/Yahuwah our God/Elohim, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.....
And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD/Yahuwah my God/Elohim for the holy mountain of my God; Daniel 9:1-23. www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=Dan&c=9&t=KJV#21Sin is the transgression of Yah Elohim's divine laws as the apostle John wrote in 1 John 3:4, and here above is the prophet Daniel confessing not only his own sins, but the sins for the whole Nation or National sins of Israel and Judah. Behold, the LORD'S/Yahuwah's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God/Elohim, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2. www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=Isa&c=59&t=KJV#2Make no mistake, a person's sins or transgressions of Elohim's divine laws will separate you from Elohim, but if ye confess your sins to Elohim and STOP sinning, He will forgive, and Yah Elohim will hear you. The ministers that are taught in this world's seminaries are taught to pit the law of Elohim against the grace of Elohim, and sadly many Christians follow these same teachings, but the truth of the matter is that in the scriptures law and grace compliment each other, yet we know that merely keeping the law of Elohim will NOT save nor justify us, but BOTH are taught in the scriptures, because the law of Elohim identifies sin to us. It's true that Yahushua Messiah broke the elders added traditional laws, however, Yahushua Messiah never broke the law of Elohim, He had no sin 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5, and He never committed sin 1 John 3:4 or transgressed the law of Elohim. www.blbclassic.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=was+no+sin&t=KJVAnd this below is as the apostle Paul wrote regarding us and Yahushua Messiah. I/Paul am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I/Paul live; yet not I/Paul, but Christ/Messiah lives in me: and the life which I/Paul now live in the flesh I/Paul live by the faith of the Son of God/Elohim, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20. www.blbclassic.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=crucified+with+Christ&t=KJV nevertheless I/Paul live; yet not I/Paul, but Christ/Messiah lives in me:Please put your own NAME in the place of Paul's name in this text above. So let me ask you a question, does Messiah live IN YOU? And if so, do ye really think that Messiah Who lives in YOU, will He sin or transgress the law of Elohim? Do ye see the facts and importance this issue really is to you? Think and study about it, and also pray about it. Eliyahu C.
